This feature allows a clinical site to activate a UPS Premier Gold tag and link it to a shipment. No extra hardware is required. The user must already have UPS Premier Gold service enabled.

Step 1: Go to the UPS LabLink Page
- Scan the QR code or go to www.ups.com/upp to access the UPS LabLink webpage
- Scroll to "More Options," click "Activate My UPS Premier Gold Tag," and then select "UPS Premier Gold Tag."
Step 2: Link UPS Premier Gold Tag to Tracking Number
- Scan the UPS barcode or manually enter the tracking number.
- Scan the QR Code on the UPS Premier Gold Tag or enter the tag ID number.
- Click "Continue."
- Ensure the tracking number and UPS Premier Gold Tag details are correct. Then, select "Activate Gold Tag."
Step 3: Review or Modify UPS Premier Gold Tag Linkage
- From the UPS LabLink homepage, click "View History."
- Here, you can view linked tracking numbers and their associated UPS Premier Gold Tags.
- Tags can be canceled or updated until the time of pickup
