Changing a Delivery You've Sent with UPS Delivery Intercept

With UPS Delivery Intercept®, you can request that we cancel or reroute a shipment you’ve sent, prior to delivery, with one of our four options.

Delivery Intercept Options

  • Return to Sender Return the shipment to the shipper (not available in Puerto Rico)
  • Deliver to Another Address Reroute the shipment to a new address
  • Reschedule Delivery Hold the shipment for delivery on a future date
  • Will Call Hold the shipment for pickup by the consignee

Terms of Service

• UPS Delivery Intercept is available for package deliveries within the U.S. and Puerto Rico, excluding UPS Express CriticalSM service
• Fees may apply for all types of requests, however, you’ll only be charged if the request is completed.

How To Request a UPS Delivery Intercept

You can request an intercept from the tracking detail page when tracking your package, through your My Choice for Business® dashboard, or you can follow the steps below to request one from your shipping history. Please note: you must request an intercept prior to the first delivery attempt.
