What is Express Export?
Express Export is a shipping service that allows goods less than €15,000 and 300 kg to be sent by air without customs brokerage services, using Electronic Commerce Customs Declaration (ETGB).

What’s ETGB?
ETGB’s a declaration that’s electronically-issued by postal and express cargo carriers. UPS is authorized to provide Express Export with ETGB for indirect representation export shipments.

Why Should I Use It?
Express Export eliminates the need to pay for customs brokerage and duty fees, as well as the need for power of attorney. Less paperwork will save you time and you’ll receive a VAT refund.

What Documents Do I Need?
In order to use Express Export, you’ll need an Export Information Form, a finance-approved Turkish invoice and a English or German invoice for declaration.
FAQ
When you’re prepared to ship, call the courier pickup line and state that your shipment will be exported with UPS Express Export and that all appropriate documentation is prepared in full. Be sure to supply your UPS driver with the original documents listed above. Your driver will place an ‘EXPORT’ sticker on your shipment and deliver your package to the affiliated operation center.
Your shipment’s then dispatched to the Istanbul Airport the following business day and taken to the export warehouse (the ETGB is given the day the shipment is taken to the export warehouse). Your shipment’s the exported the same evening.
The ETGB documents are sent to the shipper the next business day via email.
You can submit your copy of the ETGB to the tax office and request a VAT refund. If you can’t find your copy of the ETGB, we can provide a letter including your declaration information.
