Service Alerts
Severe weather, natural disasters, and other conditions beyond our control can occasionally disrupt our services. If there is an active service disruption, it will appear below.
Since Monday, 7 July 2025, Poland has reintroduced border controls at its borders with Lithuania and Germany. These controls took effect at midnight on 7 July and are scheduled to remain in place until 5 August 2025. This period may be extended.
The reintroduction of these controls may affect road traffic capacity and result in transport delays. As a result, UPS deliveries crossing the borders with Germany and Lithuania may be delayed.
For the latest status of your shipments, please use the tracking tool on ups.com.
Please be aware that when service is affected by circumstances outside of UPS’s control, UPS’s money-back guarantee does not apply.
Effective 1 January 2025, changes to the 2024 German postal law require updates to labelling of certain parcels.
To comply with this new law, parcels weighing between 10 and 20 kilograms and those over 20 kilograms, delivered in Germany, will require icons indicating the weight class.
UPS systems have been updated to display these icons.
UPS WorldShip users that have not yet upgraded to Version 28 (upgrades taking place) and Host to Host shippers that have not yet completed programming are requested to apply weight class stickers to parcels weighing between 10 and 20 kilograms and those over 20 kilograms, that will be delivered in Germany.
If you need these labels, please contact Customer support.
Stickers will soon be available for order in the customer material order system on UPS.com.
It is the shipper’s responsibility to ensure that parcels are labelled in accordance with all regulatory requirements.
